Assisted Active isolated Stretching

More Ease Starts with Understanding Your Movement

What if reaching overhead, turning to look behind you, or bending to tie your shoes felt a little easier?

Active Isolated Stretching (AIS), developed by Aaron Mattes, uses brief, repeated stretches. At Cynshine®, I begin by listening to your history and exploring how you move, so we can choose an approach suited to your needs.

You actively participate while I guide and support each movement. We hold each stretch for about two seconds, then release and repeat. I adjust the range and assistance to your comfort and abilities, with time to notice how each movement feels.

Feeling tight doesn’t automatically mean you need a deeper stretch. I assess first, choose stretching when it fits your needs, and adapt as your body responds.
